Hi, I’m Siona Sammartino, MS, RDN, holistically trained Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Nutrition Culinary Expert. I’ m passionate about helping smart, ambitious women transform their health + energy by falling in love with whole, deliciously satisfying foods.
I love defining a crystal-clear action plan for women to help them get laser focused so they can take the guesswork and overwhelm out of eating. Watching their transformation inspires me.
In my own life, I’ve used food to overcome a life-threatening autoimmune condition (against all odds), have learned simple ways to rejuvenate myself and have helped my clients do the same.
I believe that getting healthy & changing your eating habits doesn’t mean you have to put your dreams on hold. In fact, optimizing nutrition will fuel your purpose, allowing you to make an even greater impact with your ambitions.

I’ve had to pass grueling exams and complete a post-graduate internship to become nationally credentialed. Because I am ambitious (just like you), I wouldn’t settle for anything other than the best and finest education.
I’m proud to say I’m skilled in helping each and every one of my clients receive top-notch, customized guidance on how to reconstruct their eating habits and use foods therapeutically as a powerful medicine.
My talents lie in teaching, public speaking, counseling and translating complex biochemical nutritional science into the everyday practical application. And I love to be on camera, expanding my reach to an even greater audience.
But before I was a nutritionist, I had my own health challenges to overcome.
Getting sick at such a young age made me re-think why I was here on Earth.
Learning how to juggle my health challenges without having to compromise my multi-passionate nature was my biggest concern.
Just like you, I’m smart, ambitious, passionate, creative, successful and hard-working. Just because I had a health challenge, I didn’t want to put my purpose on hold. Luckily, I didn’t have to. Instead, nutrition became my secret weapon and I found my personal power. I learned how to listen to my body and how to respond in a way that would bring me towards health and healing. All of this was only possible because I was constantly re-fueling and replenishing myself with proper nutrition.
I went on a mission to educate myself and attend the most prestigious universities.
To say I’m grateful is an understatement.

Siona Sammartino, MS, RDN, CN is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Nutrition Culinary Expert who specializes in whole foods nutrition, cooking demonstration, and helping clients use food as medicine to soothe inflammation, re-energize their life and prevent or recover from chronic illness. She is a graduate of Bastyr University, the Harvard of natural medicine, and takes a functional and holistic, yet evidence-based approach. She’s been featured in Health Magazine, eHow, LiveStrong and King 5 Seattle News.
Siona first fell in love with nutrition when she discovered how to use food to heal and reset from a chronic illness. The powerful impact food made in her own life, inspired her to give back to others. She holds a special interest in media work, auto-immune conditions, digestive disorders and preventive medicine. Her approach honors whole person healing and focuses on helping clients eat their way to radiant health. Sammartino’s cooking style centers on using an assortment of herbs and spices and seasonal fresh ingredients to layer and infuse flavors into dishes. She leads cooking classes all over the Puget Sound area, where you’ll never find her food to be boring, “earthy” or tasteless.
Her expertise in both nutrition and cooking have led her clients to life-altering, powerful changes. Passionate about food energetics and whole body healing, Siona has also studied herbal medicine and apprenticed under a traditional Chinese medicine acupuncturist and herbalist in Boulder,CO. When she’s not in the kitchen, you can find her taking walks in the woods, foraging for wild herbs and seaweed, crocheting and crafting recipes.
