Most coffee creamers are laden with additives, preservatives and unnecessary chemicals. Why rely on these processed varieties when you can easily make a delicious, satisfying and wholesome creamer in 5 minutes flat? Try my homemade coconut creamer with organic coffee, matcha green tea or your favorite tea. It’s to-die-for and won’t compromise your health or nutrition. My favorite brand of coconut milk is Thai Kitchen’s Organic.


Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Makes about 2 cups


1 (13.66 fl. Oz.) can full-fat coconut milk

1-2 tablespoons real maple syrup, to taste

1 teaspoon real vanilla extract

Pinch sea salt


Add milk, syrup, vanilla and salt to a blender. Blend on low until fully emulsified. If you’re sensitive to “sweets” try the lesser amount of syrup. If you have an intense sweet tooth, you will likely prefer it with 2 tablespoons of syrup. You can also make this using an immersion blender. Recipe keeps for 7 days refrigerated.
